Friday 12th July 2002 we attended the Basildon District Business
Awards, at the Towngate Theatre, along with the management and
design team from Software First. Software First scooped the e-business
award for medium to large businesses.
Fairfax Computing has designed and developed all aspects of Software
First's web applications and back end fulfilment software.
The judge of the e-business category, John Howard from Konica said
of the developed systems "Numerous sophistications built into
the way their websites function reflect a vision, far sightedness
and depth of understanding of the commercial benefits that the technology
can bring that sets them well above other finalists".
This is praise indeed, and Fairfax Computing are proud to have played
a major role in Software First's success. We now go forward to the
Essex final to be held at a later date at the Cliff's Pavillion.
